After 19 50, people started eating lots of high omega six vegetable oil, but only the same amount of high omega three fish. Now it's about ten to 50 times as much omega six as omega three. Both omega six and omega three are involved in celme cell membranes and signaling chemicals. There is some evidence that omega sixes may be pro inflammatory and omega threes anti inflammatory,. although these studies haven't really been done. If this were true, it suggests a diet high in saturated fat and low in un saturated fat, especially polly unsaturated fat.
