Introduction

This week, I decided to record Scott Alexander's Meditations on Moloch post. While he is largely right on the money, I don't think he goes far enough. There are several ways in which his post ties into themes and subjects I'm interested in. Before reading my take on things, I would urge you to read the original post or listen to my recording of it.
