On the day after christmas, all across america, divorced kids shuttle from one parent to the other. If they fly, their baby sitters are the airlines themselves. This is baby sitting encased in corporate procedure and corporate language. Kids flying without adults are called unaccompanied miners. Little ones get brightly colored tags pinned to their coats or hung from their necks. When you see em, it's hard not to feel bad for them an wonder whathey're going to say about the experience some day.
