An important issue is transparency of clinical trial data. Very few doctors understand that when papers are published in even the most respected medical journals, the data have not been made available to the pure reviewers or medical journal editors. Physicist scientists are making this progress because we're opening our data, and we're opening ourselves to criticism from our colleagues.
