That's what they're called in Final Fantasy 16. So they are your idolons, Guardian Forces, Espers, summons. They're big magical godlike monsters that you can summon pretty much in all Final Fantasies. Do they seem quite crucial to the plot of Final Fantasy 16? Yeah. We don't think.
