Introduction

The 6th century BC was the New Age of Thought in ancient India. Buddhist-founding Buddhism, Mahavira's founding Jainism and as many as 63 other schools of thought were founded at this time. Around the plane of the Gunga, huge cities and large states start to emerge once again. And the area is dominated by 16 great countries, 16 great houses.
