Many of them are under direct attack, their ideas, by the authoritarians and illiberal societies. In some respects, these are outposts of democracies and outpostssive of values,. just as in some respects ther they are serving. Now, i don't know if this particular book exists, and i don't mean to give you guys home work or anything, but i would love to see a book coming out of brookings"
