The Reluctance of New Yorkers to Change

I think it will be a very long time before people refer to the Queensborough Bridge as the Ed Koch Bridge. I think that the RFK Bridge is slowly working its way into popular conversation. After Governor Cuomo resigned, there were immediately bills in the legislature to propose un-naming the Mario Cuomo Bridge. But you know, I think it's a combination of people don't like change and people don’t like being told what to call things.
