How to Use Football to Teach Non-English Languages
We encourage listeners to send in any interesting football expressions that they know in their own languages. And we had one from a Czech fan who, and I apologize for my poor Czech pronunciation, was shibaneeche - which is the gallows. While an Italian fan wrote in, there was one called the seven, because it looks like a seven. So there's so many different ways of doing it. We move more into looking at how football can be used to teach non-English languages as well. The ball went right into the top corner.
