Is There a Conservative Argument That Without Nastalgia?
Nastalgia comes along with conservatism just as a kind of excessive hopefulness for the future comes along with progressivism. I would sharply distinguish optimism, a belief that we can make things better, from a utopianism which is veryd dangerous. And look, i mean, this is a big thing in judy as and right where you do get these there's a kind of netalgia for the old, which can turn into a kind of intolerance of any change and of anything new.
