i think tom soul has had much happier career as an intellectual based on making that call. I personally just don't think he had the temperament for a the faculty lounge. College teaching on a college campus is a very go along to get along a proposition. And tom was just not not that type of person. Im, back in 20 16, i wrote that, you know, some people just lost the best professor they had,. even if they never went to college.
