The History of Pompeii
Pompeii was subject from what you're saying there to some remarkable archaeological excavations during the 19th century. There's just so much to see there in terms of daily life that people would like to almost draw that parallel between their own kind of town and Pompeii. And Daisy the surviving art and architecture and shape of the bodies themselves are those who unfortunately perished in this natural disaster almost 2,000 years ago. They do give us an invaluable insight into the lifestyle they must have lived with which I think all historians should take note of.
