What's the Origin of Commercial Radio?

Radio luxemburg gave the birth to radio one, which became a non talk station. Commercial radio started kicking off in the seventies on f m rado. There was only a few stations locally and they would get busted every couple of weeks. The first time i ever heard jaz funk was on rubby vincent's show from midday to two. And i'll never forget when i played that track over here as a connection between pilly and my pirate radio routes.
