The Myth of Boomers and Comp

The Gen X generation, the individuals in Gen X know who they are. They've had enough work experience. And so I think what we're seeing Gen X are saying is, look, I can find something that better lines up with who I am and what I want to be. So for many boomers, even if you don't need the comp, comp as a marker of your perceived worth is still a thing. It's a way of keeping score. But for many boomer, it is about affinity, affiliation, being respected,. A good portion of their social life is there.
