How to Identify a Client With Narcissistic Abuse

One of the biggest issues I think in our field is we're really scared to talk about personality disorders. Most therapists learn about narcissistic abuse from their clients unless they are a survivor themselves. So many victims know more about the cycle of narcissistic abuse than the therapist. This leads to many therapists being outside of their area of competency when treating individuals with NPD or survivors of the abuse.
