Concurrency and the Edge of Distributed Systems

Cloudflare has put out two edge databases, N1 and R2. And then we're seeing a number of companies think about data for the edge. A new one is called TURSO. They are doing SQLite replication. So I feel like for most of distributed systems, it's always the state that creates the problem in the end for every good idea.
