The Other Way of Knowing
There are two ways of knowing, conceptual and non-conceptual. Know yourself on the one hand means know what makes up your personality. And that's not out at school or universities unless there's some individual teachers perhaps bring it in. You can't just, you know the famous dictum in ancient Greece, know thyself. That goes back to Pythagoras, the first philosopher,. Now you can know yours again, you have the two dimensions. It's all connected with awareness, with the awakening, with presence.
