The libertarian view that markets are the most efficient way to allocate resources is accepted by pretty much everyone, says David Frum. But if libertarians wouldn't be so unreasonable, they would see that we basically all agree with them,. We just think markets need to be slightly tweaked. And then he's got 28 things he wants done to them that he thinks won't have any effect. Then it's, of course, markets can't provide certain things like roads, education. It can't provide basic scientific research.
