The problem with the singular emphasis on racism is that it can be alienating to a lot of potential political allies. The anti racist discourse also doesn't always capture the different experiences of black people, right? It really prioritizes what oftentimes can be hyper symbolic or overly symbolic problems. So I just think there's a way that any racism it consumes us in some ways and in some ways it should. But I think it blocks us from thinking about other material issues which are more difficult to organize around.
