The Importance of Buying Paints
I think it's something to do with the fact that paints are consumable. But they don't... Whereas buying the panels or buying the canvas is a thing, you feel like you're buying a thing. I remember at the time spending over 200 pounds on paints and thinking, that's so much money, and it is a lot of money. Some of those paints, I still have. So sometimes some of them last a long time,. if they're colours that you don't use a lot of, don't use very frequently. That makes it hard to spend on. And all of this stuff adds up, and it almost feels like there's no choice about it having made that decision
