The Ripple Effect of the Writer Strike
More than 11,000 Los Angeles City workers are on strike. The ripple effect is immense and it will be prolonged if this doesn't get wrapped up soon. We know that the writer strike that happened in 2007-2008 cost the US economy $2 billion. And California is really interesting because that's where you have the majority of writers. It's also seeing hotel workers walking out in sort of what is considered rolling strikes.
