The Goanna Track
Am used to play in the sand junes and the scrub all up near the bush. He'd wake up in the morning before his parents were awake, and just go to the beach without telling them. One time he was walking along an area that's called the goanna track. It was a dirt track that went into this cleared, but sort of forested and open area. On the other side was a stand of what we call sally waddles. They're really thin, sort of scraggly, ah waddle trees they have over here.
