The Importance of Risk Evaluation and Assessment in Trail Running
Risk evaluation and assessment is a very common experience for ultra-trail runners. I feel like it's something that we should try to preserve because it's a skill. But when you're trying to make money at events, you kind of setting yourself up for bringing people in who haven't spent the time developing their skills. So ideally, I wish we could slow it down, slow down the getting into the more mountainous events,. That are trying to get runners in immediately.
