A Review of Lincoln's the Satires

Lincoln felt deeply embedded in London, wasn't he? He was. If you look at a map of where he ended up, he keeps being sent to places about a day away. In his very earliest poetry in the Satires, he's quite located I think in Lincoln's Inn. The first one begins mostly when he's coffined in his study with a lot of ancient authors who are sort of looming over him and oppressing him.
