There's still a big markist hangover going on where people wilfully or ignor y, misunderstand this economic system that we have. We also need to acknowledge there are problems that capitalism itself doesn't solve. People getting left behind, a inequality of some kinds of opportunity, the lack of a safety net. Pollution, species loss, absolutely, these are well understood, sometimes called failures, market failures.
