CHAPTER

The General Disclosure of God

The evangelists tell our astronaut that he has arrived in reality and that reality is governed by a great God who demands worship and obedience to his commands. But suppose that our astronaut asks for evidence for the existence of this God. The evangelists will reply that every man can see the existence of God written upon the face of nature whose very existence and order demands a creator. They call this general revelation. General revelation is God's communication of himself to all persons at all times and in all places. His self-manifestation in nature history and the inner being of the human person. This completes the material on this side. For the proper start in side B, turn this cassette over now.
