When you see the word Thomistic, that's the way of saying Thomas Aquinas is thought. He did not view himself in terms of his intentionality, his goals as a creative thinker. So unlike today, when Aquinas came to the question of God or the soul or of plants and trees he didn't say how can I distinguish myself from Aristotle? That was not his intention.
