The Importance of Ambulances

The benefits of ambulances are obvious: they can get you to the hospital quickly. They're staffed with trained technicians and stocked with import medical equipment and supplies. But in a lot of states, there's no cap on what ambulance companies can charge. A single company could easily end up as the sole provider of ambulance rides in any given region. This is just a broken market that can never really work.
