The Magic of Discovery Writing

For me, it almost always starts with a cool character concept. For example, my short story in your monster hunter anthology, the gitieras infidelli story. I was listening to the sound track waiting for a the inception sound tra from hans zimmer,. And i had not seen the movie inception yet, so i had no preconceived images or notions to the music. So i stopped and went back nd listened again, and a scene formed in my head thatwith the pacing of that song. It's the magic of discovery.
