Empiricism Is the Answer to Knowledgment, Right?
When people like descarte or spinoza or leibnitz arrive at some fundamental truth about the nature of the universe, they can struct an entire system on top of it. It's very tempting to think that they've arrived at something absolutely true there. But what the empiricist would say is that they aren't actually arriving at anything completely foreign to their experiences. This system that they've created is just a creative conglomeration of things that they've rienced in the past,. which, by the way, explains why many of the things they talk about are mutually exclusive.
