The days are short, it gets dark at about four p m. The sun doesn't come up until quite late in the morning. Old fashioned windows let a lot of cold air into the house and you can feel a horrible cold draught in the winter time. I'll spend another ten thousand pounds just to get those crap windows that don't insulate the house very well. If you find a house with old fashioned dows all, great, old fashioned windows, brilliant. Yer.
