How I Learned to Mix and Master

I started writing songs when I was about 12 or 13. My mum was doing recordings of the classes that she was teaching and she had this little eight track CD thing. So to be able to burn these eight tracks onto a CD, I had to go through a really like reduced and reductive bastardized process of the mix and mastering thing. That's how I learned how to produce mix and master. And my brain was sponging off of all of the music I was listening to. The sound is just anything. I was just listening to so much John Mayer. It's an interesting thing to look back on for me because that's what inspired me so much to be a producer later
