The Two Paths of the Western World in a Crisis
The two routes of the Western world which is currently in a crisis are biblical faith and Greek philosophy. They cannot be different okay they cannot be harmonized. You can have philosophy in the service of theology, but you can't have some sort of synthesis of the two there's always going to be either one or the other that stands front and center in a person's life. But in either case, even though you have an alternative here Jerusalem and Athens as he sometimes phrased it, or the Bible and Greek Philosophy. What's important in my view is that there's, and it's two very serious options, not some sort of trivial trifling option; each one is open to the other
