The best illustration of what happens and what people imagine is going to happen, turns out to be a story. Once upon a time, there was a caravan of rich and self important merchants which set off from syria to make the long and dangerous journey to mecca to the south. Not long after their departure, an ancient and self assured looking man riding a donkey and accompanied by two laden mules asked to join the party. While the caravan master was discussing the possibility with him, some at least of the merchants objected to the newcomer. He did not look prosperous.
