Test Driven Development - Is This Really a Good Idea?
Jeff: I started collecting lots of little exercises and I didn't make many of them up. And at first it was just a read me. It was just like a description of a problem and then you were expected to write some code to solve the problem. After a few weeks of that I realized that people were not writing tests. The two instructors both Jeff and Franklin would demonstrate how you might solve the problem and they weren't writing tests. So I started writing test suites that would kind of be like a hand holding example of how you might solved the problem. Every day for about six months I would push up a new problem that was a read me in the test suite at 8.45
