When you have a full-time job that demands your time not just during business hours but thanks to cell phones and the internet now it's in evenings and weekends as well. I remember as a kid having to deal with the tag team parenting and a lot of families will say it's not our fault, they're right when you have a working phone call or an email for 18 months at a time. Doug one says he needs to blame covid for this because his daughter was born exactly two months before lockdowns started in their home state.
