How to Get Reluctant Writers

The problem is if your child doesn't know what's coming up the first of August, they're just not going to want to do it. They really are just in summer mode and it's hard to shift them into anything academic. I will tell you pretty much every kid with ADHD does not like to write because it takes a tremendous amount of working memory. Another thing I can recommend for writing is a dialogue journal. And here, everything is video based, kids watch a video and then they have to come up with the ending of the story.
