It's always reminded me of some of the Easternmost Austronesian languages, like Tuvalu and... Yeah, it was Samoan. A big part of its inspiration was Dokbissin, I think. Which is an English Creole with... I don't know exactly where it's from, but... Up-onigini. And so that was a big inspiration for it in terms of simplicity and grammar structure and stuff. So I just think it's a really cool way to also just learn about languages in general because it is such a boiled down version that it helps understand concepts that are actually there in natural languages.
