The i3 and the i4 are a complete departure from what you would expect to see from BMW. Some critics say it's because they came out with an i3 so early in the game, that's why right now they're a legged in the EV game. There are two types of players: newer startups type company like Tesla and Kiaopeng or Nio in China all producing only electrical vehicles. But at the same time, traditional automobile companies like Mercedes, Ford, GM, they are also facing this transition and pushing out their version of battery electrical vehicles.
