I think there is like a not wanting to admit even that humanity can be that evil. But it's safer to be like this guy did offer a service that they benefited from and yes branding was part of it. If it were men and they were being branded no one no one would bat an eye sort of thing. Because we're so muskley and strong. That's why it's so effective. This guy is effective and he did it and they came in by her beware and they got branded, then they actually twisted to be like well if she didn't want to be there she should have left.
