What's the Gospel of Thomas?
The gospel of Thomas was well known in antiquity. But at some point, it gets lost. And by the medieval period, no one was reading it anymore. For much of the 19th century, people just bemoaned the idea we would ever see it again. A couple of Oxford theologians made a wonderfully fortuitous discoveries about Oxi Rinkus in Egypt.
