The Importance of Men in Prisons

Women want to be empathetic but men don't have an outlet as much as women do to like express their feelings that's socially acceptable. Like it's so important that men have other men who can model that for them. The first instinct to respond to this trauma is just violence because that's the only societally acceptable way that men were taught to respond to their trauma. Once they you know kind of calm these guys down who are processing their trauma it's just like the sorrow just comes out from under all that violence and it was just such a poignant and like important documentary to watch.
