How Is a Cascade Different From a Pathway?
With a pathway, one thing that scientists do is they ca use tracers or tags. And they can tag a cause and they can watch it as it moves through the system. With a mechanism, the way you study the mechanisms, you drill down to find the lower level parts. So how is a pathway different? i guess what we're going to do is step through a few of the different a, causal and non causal, explanatory concepts. You've also written about cascades as an explanatory concept. How is a pathwaydifferent from a cascade? And eventually i want to come to how how to think about all these different varieties of explanations and causalities within the brain.
