Is It More Satisfying to Monitor a Patient in a Bed?
Ian Goodhart is Clinical Director for the Virtual Awards. Patients are at home with special equipment to take their own blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and they're sent home with these devices which are then linked back to the hospital automatically. At the moment there are spaces for 30 patients on the virtual award. It does feel like there is a real push towards moving patients out of hospitals I mean is that the future of the NHS?
