Why Did Jesus Choose a Strange Title to Describe Himself?
Daniel 7 refers to something in the future that hasn't happened yet. We have come to call Jesus by a Greek word that summarizes his status, his royal status,. It's the word Christ, Christos or Messiah. But Jesus never once actually called himself the Messiah. The most consistent title he used for himself was Son of Man.
