Gene Therapy for Dogs - Why Are You Going in Parallel?
The preclinical development for humans has a very large overlap with the clinical development for dogs. The reason that we are developing it for animals is because it's the same amount of work that we would have had to done for human development. But now we have partnered with fibro animal health so that they can actually, so we can focus on the human aspect,. They can commercialize the therapy for dogs once we've done the experiments we were going to do anyway. So I think gene therapy makes this more possible because you are creating a new key for each lock.
