Gidget's Diaries

Cathy's house is a wooden ranch house read with white trim that she shares with her husband, Marv. A table just outside the front door is piled with abalone shells and sandbellers. Cathy leads me into a back bedroom which looks like a museum of 1950s girlhood. This is where Cathy recorded everything that happened in the summer of 1956 when she learned to surf in Malibu.
