If you make everything two syllables, it's going to make words too long. Swahili is one of the languages that has kind of a nice mix of prefixes and suffixes. If you start to look at languages from, you know, urologic, they're almost exclusively suffixing. They're pretty much exclusively suffixing as well. And who knows why that is, but we just, it just seems to be true generally that suffixes are more common than prefixes.
