Is There a Definition of an Art Director?
When he left the BBC in the mid 80s, it was very much, you did a film and finished it. And that was it. But I wanted to build bigger sets. And do more, I felt more complete projects - which I feel has a beginning and an end. There's a whole market for that fast and viewing number of them aren't there.
