The Fundamental Motivator for Hierarchies Is Power

Newt Gingrich: Modernists who insist that the fundamental motivator for the structure of hierarchies is power, are wrong. He says we're rather chimp like because we're our closest biological relatives. We can abstract rules but chimps aren't doing that and wolves don't follow these rules - they do manifest patterns which emerged as a consequence of evolutionary competition.
